DJ Elric

For this special event I thought it would be nice to honour my regular listeners and have them pick 4 songs that mean a lot to them. This will be a two part show, with part 2 next week.

This is my 500th radio show (maybe, a bit hard to gauge after 11 years)
I have had ups and downs, tech issues (still do lol), and a change of broadcaster (for the better).
I've seen the radio station go through some tough times. At one point, I thought we were done. We had to play unpublished music, and there were fallouts with DJs, but we battled through it, and we are stronger than ever, I would say.

I've done lots of interviews from My Dying Bride to Agnostic Front. Had the odd guest.
Met a lot of DJ's and bands along the way.

I've had some interesting and sometimes crazy ideas for shows (songs under 30 seconds and songs over 20 minutes, were probably my weirdest lol). Genres, Top 100, All Female, Year, Area shows have been fun to put together.

If I had to pick my favourite show, it would be the Lemmy Tribute (not a show I can legally do now).

The best thing though, has been the regular listeners in chat over the years. I've had regulars come and go, but it's always great to have people tuned in, it makes it all worthwhile.
