Having made their mark on
the international heavy music scene with All Heed the Black God (2018), Saint Karloff raised their game last year with the release of their impressive follow- up, Interste llar Voodoo, on Majestic Mountain Records. Heavier, fiercer, and infinitely more complex than anything they’d recorded before, the band went on to garner instant acclaim; a rapidly expanding fanbase and a reputation as one of doom rock’s most exciting new prospects. "It became something of an instant classic,” says Marco Berg, head of Majestic Mountain Records. “Every week people would inquire about a repress of the album since the first pressing sold out in days, so it made sense to do it. But to do it right. To do something a bit special.” Not only will fans get their hands on a long-awaited repress of Interstellar Voodoo , the album will also be repackaged as a deluxe double vinyl featuring the original version and a second version, Live in Oslo , with completely reimagined artwork by Spectral Ecstasy . “Just prior to the COVID-19 shut down of, well, the entire world, luckily we managed to do our very first and quite possibly last gig, playing the album in its entirety,” explains guitarist/vocalist, Mads Melvold. “It also includes Corny Henry on keys who really brought something new and exciting to the song. We are so stoked for you all to finally hear and take part in this special and memorable gig.” Majestic Mountain Records's deluxe double LP of Interstellar Voodoo by Saint Karloff will be officially released on 15th January 2021. There will also be two standalone versions with the studio recording, (The Not-So) Standard Edition and the Ripple Music Edition. Pre-orders open on 2nd October 2020 HERE
