Stephen King, author of It, Carrie, The Stand, the entire Dark Tower series, The Dome, 11/22/63, and every other good book that's ever been written, has a suggestion for all you capable musicians. King initially took to Facebook to state that "the lead singers of some of my favorite death metal bands sound like Donald Duck having a tantrum," and then took things one step further in the comment section.
King then suggests "someone should do a Donald Duck tantrum to the Hatred's 'Voices of Pain' or 'Bullet thru My Head,'" because he doesn't have the technical skills, or Pantera's "Mouth For War."
So what are you waiting for? Someone make it happen!
In the past, King has voiced his love of bands like The Ramones, who he wrote the liner notes for the We're A Happy Family tribute album for in 2003, and references them in Pet Sematary and Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla. He's also a fan of AC/DC, Anthrax, Judas Priest, and Metallica, and even recorded a spoken word intro for Blue Öyster Cult's re-recorded version of "Astronomy"
King is also a guitarist, and all around just better than everyone else. Via MetalInjection
