South Carolina-based instrumental tech metal collective INVOKING THE ABSTRACT will take to the streets next month on a near-month-long tour alongside technical black metal unit Enfold Darkness. The Invoking Total Darkness Tour will commence on June 2nd and run through June 24th leveling a total of twenty venues in its wake. See confirmed dates below.

INVOKING THE ABSTRACT will be touring in support of their Aural Kaleidoscopes full-length released last year via Unique Leader Records. Tracked at The Basement Recording Studios with Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, The Contortionist, Scale The Summit), the confounding record utilizes various approaches to rhythm, phrasing, and playing techniques to convey a sound that transcends genres. INVOKING THE ABSTRACT's broad style, containing both soaring guitar solos and groovy mixed meters, creates a blend of catchy hooks accompanied by churning technical metal.
