The line-up for Metalworksfest XL (Saturday March 13, 2021 - Kubox, Kuurne - Belgium) has been extended once again. We are proud to announce two new names for the indoor festival. ALTAR (with an exclusive set) and CRISIX, join the previously confirmed bands OCEANS and SCHIZOPHRENIA. Would you be so kind to communicate the statement below through your channels? ALTAR (Death Metal, NL) – EXCLUSIVE SET “YOUTH AGAINST CHRIST”

“Holland and death metal: you can call it a successful marriage. Besides household names with the likes of Asphyx, Pestilence, Hail of Bullets and God Dethroned, the infamous ALTAR should be named as well. The unholy group from Overijsel, was established three decades ago. To celebrate this milestone in their history, Edwin Kelder and companions will return to the stage in 2021. Exclusively for the Belgian fans, the debut album YOUTH AGAINST CHRIST (which has become a cult classic), is performed in its entirety  Don't miss this unique performance!”

CRISIX (thrash metal, ES) – SPANISH THRASH ASSAULT

“Spain is so much more than attractive football, bullfights and cocktails on the beach. When it comes to metal, these Southern Europeans can easily hold their own. CRISIX, operating from the rebellious province of Catalonia, quickly grew into a force to be reckoned with. In the recent past, the group has played at festivals with the likes of Graspop Metal Meeting, Hellfest, MetalDays and Wacken Open Air. Without skipping Belgium, CRISIX will be touring again next year. We are proud that Metalworksfest XL in Kuurne was chosen as a stopover! ”
