SAVOR THE SWILL™
So Mari, Jeff and Brandon have a close relationship to a few of the members of Darkest Hour who grew up in the DMV area. We’ve been watching the band's rise to success over the past 20 years and couldn't be more thrilled to collaborate with them on a beer to commemorate their 20 year anniversary and the release of their 9th studio album "Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora." During the initial collaboration phases the band expressed interest in wanting an easy drinking beer that goes down easy after playing blistering sets of their unique brand of heavy metal.
A German-Style Helles was the first thing that came to everyone's mind. It also has the word “Hell” in its name, so it was an easy fit and a no-brainer for us.
TASTING NOTES:
A light, golden German lager with lively, natural carbonation that touts aromas of lightly kilned malt, grain and cracker with a subtle herbal hop presence.
A clean fermentation profile, low alcohol content and a perfect ratio between malt and hop contribute to this well-balanced, meticulously crafted, domestic interpretation of one of Germany’s most delicate and sought after lagers.
