" Turkey Vulture brings it all together with the soul of a troubadour and the attitude of a Riot Grrl to boot." -- Outlaw Review
As 2019 comes to a close, Connecticut's favorite heavy genre-benders Turkey Vulture have some new offerings for fans. They recently released a CD featuring June's Boxer EP and the Halloween acoustic single "In The Pines." The band is also excited to announce that their cover of Dolly Parton's famous song "Jolene" is now streaming on Spotify.

About Turkey Vulture
Americana-inspired metal with a punk edge might not be the first thing you affiliate with southern Connecticut, but such is the daily bread of Turkey Vulture. This duo infuses Motörhead with Social Distortion by way of The White Stripes and even Dolly Parton, belting out anthems that protest the suffering of our modern age. With their June 2019 EP Boxer making rounds in the underground and a music video of the title track showing off their sparkling personalities, Turkey Vulture hopes to take their blend of sounds to a wider audience, driving their love for music and hatred of systematic oppression to brave new heights.
Jessie May -- vocals, guitar, and recorded bass
Jim Clegg -- drums
