West Tennessee Doom and Sludge Outfit Follow Underground Recognition With a New Wave of Grimy, Heavy Riffs

West Tennessee, USA – West Tennessee doom and sludge metal outfit Burnt Witch are preparing to unleash their next chapter with the announcement of their upcoming self-titled debut album and a brand-new single arriving October 29, 2026 .

Fresh off a killer weekend at Delta Doom Fest in Memphis, the band is ready to bring its latest material to listeners. The upcoming single will be the self-titled track from the forthcoming album, offering fans their first taste of what's in store. According to the band, the new material is grimy, sludgy, and heavy , promising another dose of the raw, crushing sound that has helped Burnt Witch establish a presence in the underground metal scene.

The upcoming album marks an important milestone for the band as they prepare to deliver their first full-length release under their own name.

Burnt Witch have already been earning attention across the underground. During their previous promotional campaign with Metal Devastation PR , the band received recognition in Weedian's Best Releases of February for their crushing EP Dopelich , attracted attention surrounding praise and social media interactions involving High on Fire guitarist and vocalist Matt Pike , and received additional coverage from underground metal publication Outlaws of the Sun .

That growing recognition sets the stage for the band's next release as they continue pushing their sound to new audiences.

With a new single on the horizon and a debut album on the way, Burnt Witch are gearing up for another round of dirty riffs, suffocating grooves, and uncompromising heaviness.

The new single, "Burnt Witch," arrives October 29, 2026.
