Atlanta Melodic Technical Death Metal Force Follows “Cut Into Moonlight” With a Dark, Relentless New Track

Atlanta melodic technical death metal outfit Starved of Light is back with another crushing new single. Following the recent release of “Cut Into Moonlight,” the band has unleashed “Wander the Holler,” now available on Bandcamp.

“Wander the Holler” continues Starved of Light’s rapidly developing sonic assault, combining punishing technical death metal riffing with melodic passages, aggressive rhythms, and an atmosphere steeped in darkness. The new track further establishes the band as one of Atlanta’s rising forces in the modern extreme metal underground.

The release arrives on the heels of “Cut Into Moonlight,” a single that showcased the band's ability to balance razor-sharp musicianship with emotionally charged songwriting. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Josh Curl at True Fiction Audio , the band's latest material demonstrates a clear evolution from their debut full-length, Into Early Mourning , released through Dark Sails Entertainment.

Fans of The Black Dahlia Murder, Job for a Cowboy, and Revocation will find plenty to sink their teeth into, but Starved of Light are quickly carving out an identity of their own through a combination of melodic intensity, technical precision, crushing riffs, and raw emotional weight.
