The Haunted North announce their new single and official lyric video “Savage Ghost,” arriving May 1 , featuring contributions from two standout names in modern hard rock and metal: John "JD" DeServio and Jeff Fabb of Black Label Society .
The release pairs the band’s heavy, groove-driven sound with a full visual push, bringing “Savage Ghost” to life with a lyric video built to match its intensity, atmosphere, and raw edge.
Musically, the track leans into crushing riffs, haunting melodic hooks, and a cinematic weight that reflects the band’s growing identity in modern hard rock and alt-metal. The presence of DeServio and Fabb adds serious pedigree and muscle to an already aggressive foundation.
Formed by vocalist and producer Randy V alongside Canadian guitarist Sean Francis , The Haunted North first broke through with their 2018 debut Monster , which also featured early collaboration with both DeServio and Fabb . The current lineup, with Mike Delta on drums, delivers a locked-in, road-tested backbone, while Fabb continues to appear on select studio recordings.
With prior releases including “21 Grams,” “Medusa,” “Black Flag Flying,” and 2025’s “The Beast,” the band continues to build momentum toward a larger statement. “Savage Ghost” marks a defining step forward, combining underground grit, classic rock swagger, and modern metal precision.
