Minneapolis, MN – Midwest deathcore titans Reaping Asmodeia are bringing their classic debut back to the spotlight with the deluxe edition of “Poison Of The Earth,” hitting digital platforms March 20, 2026 via Blood Blast Distribution. This reissue revives the band’s groundbreaking first album with Tim Snook on vocals and includes two re-recorded tracks featuring Steven Lane, making previously unavailable material accessible to fans for the first time on streaming platforms.

“‘Poison of the Earth’ captures the early vision of Reaping Asmodeia,” says drummer Daniel Koppy. “It’s chaotic, heavy, and full of the raw energy we wanted to convey. Bringing this material back for fans feels like closing a circle while looking forward to what’s next for the band.”

Rising from the chaos of the Midwest metal scene, Reaping Asmodeia first made waves with “Bodies In Barrels,” a track that set the band apart with its relentless technical precision, breakneck drumming, and guitar work shifting between melodic finesse and crushing breakdowns. This track led to a deal with Prosthetic Records, two releases, and tours with Born of Osiris, Cryptopsy, Signs of the Swarm, and more.

With fresh blood entering the ranks in 2024 – the return of original bassist Jakub Kingery and the addition of current vocalist Eric Keyes – Reaping Asmodeia have expanded their creative reach. “Having Eric and Jakub on board has brought an amazing collective feeling of creativity and enthusiasm toward our future as a band,” adds Koppy.

The deluxe edition of “Poison Of The Earth” arrives alongside a series of re-releases and a documentary chronicling the band’s career. Fans can catch the band live throughout spring and summer, highlighted by major festival appearances:
