Red Vinter Complete Recording of Crushing New Album Ghost In The Fog and Prepare to Level Sinkfest II

St. Paul, MN – Doom and death metal force Red Vinter have officially wrapped recording sessions for their second full length album, Ghost In The Fog , at the legendary 14: 59 Studios in Minneapolis, MN. Known for hosting punishing sessions from underground standouts such as Impaler, Thor, Plague of Stars, and Glutton for Punishment, the studio once again served as the perfect sonic war room for the band’s next chapter.

The album was co- produced by Red Vinter vocalist and bassist Mike Bullock alongside Will Maravelas , the engineer behind the band’s acclaimed debut Lumbering Menace . The new record features eight pulverizing tracks that push the band’s already massive doom and death sound into darker and heavier territory.

Among the most anticipated tracks are “ Cryptic Site” and “ The Cell Inside,” with “ Cryptic Site” slated to emerge as the first single from Ghost In The Fog . The upcoming record continues Red Vinter’s signature blend of crushing riffs, slow burning atmosphere, and emotionally charged songwriting that has been steadily gaining attention across the underground metal scene.

Momentum for the band has been building as tracks from Lumbering Menace continue to reach new audiences. Fan favorites “ Ashes” and “ Insurgent” have recently been featured on the Screamin’ Eman Underground Metal show on the legendary WXAX and have received additional airplay on KFAI, KMSU, and a growing number of online metal radio programs and podcasts.

Fans will soon experience the band’s crushing new material live as Red Vinter returns to the Minneapolis doom and sludge gathering SINKFEST II on March 21st . The annual low- and- slow festival brings together some of the heaviest acts in the underground, and Red Vinter is preparing to bulldoze the stage with a set that includes the live debut of “ Cryptic Site” alongside fan favorites like “ Ashes,” “ Lumbering Menace,” “ K. I. A.,” and more.
