Veteran slamming brutal death metal band Kraanium have officially entered a new era. The long-running extreme metal outfit has announced the addition of vocalist Robin “Elfi” Schramm and unveiled a freshly recorded version of their classic track “Rock Filled Orifice.” The single arrives just ahead of the band’s upcoming Pacific Slam Tour , which launches March 20 and will take the band across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Formed in 2001, Kraanium have spent more than two decades carving out their place as one of the defining forces in slamming brutal death metal . With six full-length albums under their belt and relentless touring across the globe, the band has built a reputation for punishing riffs, guttural vocals, and devastating live performances.
Their most recent album, Scriptures of Vicennial Defilement (2023), marked their debut release through Unique Leader Records and further cemented their legacy within the underground extreme metal scene.
Now the band moves forward with a new voice behind the microphone.
Robin “Elfi” Schramm expressed his excitement about joining the lineup:
“I’m beyond proud to be the new vocalist of Kraanium. It’s a huge honor to hit the stage with the band, tear it up live, and carry this next chapter forward together.”
The band also shared their enthusiasm about the new addition:
“Behold the new vocalist of Kraanium. After a long search, we’re excited to announce Robin ‘Elfi’ as the new guttural master. We’re pumped to have him onboard and unleash his brutality.”
To celebrate the lineup change, Kraanium have released a newly recorded version of the fan-favorite track “Rock Filled Orifice.” The updated version showcases Robin “Elfi” Schramm’s savage vocal delivery while paying homage to one of the band’s classic old-school slam tracks.
The band hinted that this release is just the beginning, teasing that they are already working on new slam material behind the scenes.
Starting March 20, Kraanium will take their brutal live show overseas for the Pacific Slam Tour , bringing their crushing sound to fans throughout Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
