DETERIOROT Unleashes Haunting New Single, "The Bataan Death March"

NJ/NC death metal legends Deteriorot are back with their latest single, "The Bataan Death March" , a chilling dive into one of World War II’s darkest chapters. The track is one of two exclusive new songs featured on the 2026 Deluxe Edition of their acclaimed album Echoes From The Past , available now on vinyl and digitally.

"The Bataan Death March" confronts the psychological torment of soldiers forced to endure the brutal 60-mile march, exploring themes of suffering, disillusionment, and the fragility of faith in the face of war.

"This song is a tribute to the thousands of soldiers who suffered and died during that horrific event," says Deteriorot’s vocalist. "It reflects the inner toll of conflict and the disillusionment it leaves behind."
