Belfast, Ireland – January 30, 2026 – Belfast metal powerhouse Survivalist are back with their most intense and focused statement yet. A Place For Those Who Suffer, Alone , out now via Seek & Strike Records , sees the band further refining their self-described “groove-core” sound – a crushing fusion of riffs, breakdowns, and melody, bound together by unflinching emotional weight.

Forged through personal struggle and lived experience, the album confronts themes of isolation, mental health, and the human condition head-on. Each track serves as an emotional reckoning, balancing brutal aggression with moments of reflection and catharsis. Highlights include “Deathbed” featuring Alex Koehler (ex-Chelsea Grin / Ameonna), “Failure Of Being” with producer Josh Sid Robinson, and a guest appearance from Kid Bookie, all showcasing Survivalist’s unique blend of metalcore, deathcore, and groove-laden intensity.

Since their 2021 debut VII , Survivalist have earned critical acclaim and a growing fanbase, sharing stages with heavyweights such as Thy Art Is Murder, Chelsea Grin, Polaris, Suffocation, Atreyu, Kublai Khan, and more.
