HMP Magazine Spotlights Metal Devastation PR Artists in New Issue Featuring Testament’s Chuck Billy
Polish metal magazine HMP has featured multiple artists from the Metal Devastation PR roster in its latest print issue (Issue 96, 2026), which also places Chuck Billy of Testament front and center on the cover. With Testament’s iconic frontman leading the issue, strong readership and circulation are expected throughout the European metal market.
Inside the issue, readers will find interviews and album reviews showcasing a diverse range of international heavy music represented by Metal Devastation PR:
KILLERWITCH (Malta)
The Maltese heavy/power metal band received both a full-length interview and album review for their new LP Palace of the Dragon . HMP praised the band’s traditional 80s metal approach, Maiden-style gallops, oriental motifs, and baroque acoustic passages. The magazine also spotlighted the group’s DIY production efforts and Malta’s growing underground metal community.
ON THE LOOSE (Portugal)
The doom-driven quartet’s album Path To Serenity received a perfect score from HMP, who commended its sincerity, 70s hard rock influence, massive 10-minute title track, and a successful interpretation of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man.” The review called for wider availability and more albums in this vein.
RETURN TO DARKNESS (USA)
While the review of Eternal carried a tougher critique overall, HMP noted standout moments including the track “Another World,” where the band’s faster thrash direction took shape, and the lively “Texas BBQ,” praised for its unexpected stylistic twist. The feedback reinforces the band’s risk-taking approach and offers clear areas for development as they continue to evolve.
SCARECROW (Russia)
The Russian hard rock outfit drew attention for their Zeppelin-inspired sound, long-form songwriting, eastern motifs, and ambitious arrangements found on Scarecrow III . The musicianship and creativity were highlighted as strengths, appealing to fans of 70s epic rock.
Metal Devastation PR founder Zach Moonshine commented, “It’s great seeing international print outlets still giving space to underground and independent bands. Scenes don’t grow without that kind of support, and we’re grateful for HMP’s coverage and interest in the roster.”
This latest press coverage strengthens Metal Devastation PR’s international media footprint while providing featured artists with valuable exposure across the European heavy music market.
