Antania Signs with Sound Works Direct Japan, Joining Ranks of Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos

California-based genre-defying extreme metal innovators Antania continue their meteoric rise, now announcing their partnership with Sound Works Direct Japan (SWD) for representation in Europe and Japan. The deal places Antania alongside some of the heaviest hitters in extreme music, including Marduk, Archspire, Obscura, Origin, and Skaphos , solidifying their status as one of the most inventive forces in modern metal.

After storming stages across the globe with their unique fusion of black, death, doom, industrial, and experimental bass music, Antania’s unorthodox approach— no guitars, no strings, only crushing basslines, feral beats, and sheer metallic aggression —continues to set them apart. Their latest video for “ BloodLove ,” directed by Matt Zane and inspired by British serial killer Joanna Dennehy, showcases the band’s ability to merge dark storytelling with relentless sonic brutality.
