Mauricio Tolosa, born in 1997, is a solo artist from the city of Río Ceballos, located in Córdoba, Argentina. Inspired by artists like Jimi Hendrix, Metallica and Megadeth, he started playing electric guitar when he was 11 years old and then a few years later started singing. This not only sparked a liking to make music a lot but also to learn to play even more instruments. During the next years that went on he would be part of many local bands, but started feeling like he wanted to be in full control of his compositions. So he decided to go solo in 2016 and started learning how to record and produce his own music. After 4 years of learning the craft and also improving his already cemented skills, his debut album, Two Lonely Summers (written, performed, recorded, produced and mastered by him) came out in march 2021.A conceptual album that takes influences from various sources and genres that go from metal to trap metal and ballads. Showing many different styles throughout the 13 tracks, his album can be described as sad, aggressive, bittersweet, happy, self-reflective, and a lot of things in between.
