Budapest, Hungary – Europe’s riff-slinging troublemakers The Trousers have returned with their brand new full-length album “Necessary Evil,” out now via Music Fashion Records and ready to hit every platform like a runaway freight train.

Built on the band’s no-nonsense blend of garage rock grit, 70s hard rock muscle, and the swaggering darkness of 90s and 2000s alt-rock, “Necessary Evil” delivers exactly what longtime fans expect — big riffs, sharp hooks, and enough attitude to level a barroom. If you dig AC/DC, The Hellacopters, Thin Lizzy, Motorhead, or Queens of the Stone Age, this record is going to feel like home.

Produced by Zoltán Kőváry and Zoltán Cs. Szabó, with Szabó once again behind the mix and master, the new album keeps the band’s classic spirit intact while pushing their sound into even tougher, tighter territory. The Trousers have been firing on all cylinders since their 2022 release “Animal Gun,” which pulled in 7–10/10 reviews across Europe, and “Necessary Evil” looks ready to raise that bar again.

Formed in 2008, The Trousers have stacked up six albums and several EPs, including fan favorites like the 2013 LP “Freakbeat,” which featured a guest solo from Nicke Andersson of The Hellacopters. Their recent single “Second Hand Suicide” earned high praise abroad, being hailed as “a real rock classic” by Canadian radio.

A seasoned touring machine, the band has conquered stages throughout Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, and Serbia. Along the way they’ve shared the spotlight with giants like Dirty Honey, Black Stone Cherry, Tygers of Pan Tang, MC5, Peter Pan Speedrock, Peter Hook & The Light, The Blue Van, Barb Wire Dolls, and more.

“Necessary Evil” is out now and streaming worldwide.
