THE BEAST

According to the "cudgel theory" this troupe is acting here without a doubt. This one is so damn clean and engaging it's a real delight. Already with the opener "Wake The Rotten" the stick gets its money's worth, because the listeners are blown through properly. With a fast mix of Death/Thrash, INTÉREMO steps on the gas pedal and only rarely throttles the tempo. In the following songs, one great riff and arrangement follows the next, so that you hardly have time to catch your breath in between. "Twisted and Abused" or "Severed" are only examples of very good tracks, because basically none can be picked out, since all are balanced and played extremely well. All songs are around 3-4 minutes long, so they seem even faster than they already are. I especially like the breaks, which interrupt the song for a short time, only to then start banging in front of the bib again in a civilized manner. This record is certainly not for quieter contemporaries, as 99% of the time it's rocking, but those who like it a little more hearty will be fully served here.
