Sight of Theia Unleashes Second Single “Children of the Uplift” From Debut Album Featuring New Vocalist Haden Rider

Atlanta, GA – November 4, 2025 – Progressive metal enthusiasts, take note: Sight of Theia is back with their second single, “Children of the Uplift” , from their debut album, now featuring the powerhouse vocals of Haden Rider. Set for release on December 2, 2025 , the track continues to showcase the band’s signature blend of technical precision, intricate rhythms, and melodic depth—perfect for fans of Periphery, Meshuggah, and The Mars Volta.

Sight of Theia’s journey began in 2017 under the vision of guitarist and band leader Alex Buhlig. Through various lineups and EPs, the current formation solidified in 2020 with Charles Von Kanel, Bill Pritchard, and Ricky Shenkman, culminating in the release of their Lighthouse EP and high-energy live performances in Atlanta, GA. Sharing stages with acts like Strawberry Girls, Alien Weaponry, and Moon Tooth, the band steadily carved their mark in the progressive metal scene.

The release of their debut album The Great Dreamer in January 2025 caught the attention of Haden Rider, an accomplished performer from the musical theater world. After auditioning, Haden officially joined the band, making his debut with the music video for the album’s title track. His vocals are now being incorporated across the full album, paving the way for a re-release that will define this new era of Sight of Theia.

"Children of the Uplift" is the second single from this debut effort, highlighting the synergy of Sight of Theia’s instrumental mastery and Haden Rider’s dynamic vocal range. The single is produced, mixed, and mastered with meticulous attention to detail—Music and lyrics by Sight of Theia, engineered by John Douglas, editing by Alex Parra, and mixed by Christoffer Borg.
