Acclaimed doom vocalist and solo artist Dee Calhoun , known to fans as Screaming Mad Dee , has been featured in Blabbermouth’s latest coverage of GRAMMY-winning bassist David Ellefson’s upcoming European Bass Warrior Tour 2025 , featuring Andy Martongelli .

Calhoun is set to join Ellefson as direct support across Europe this winter, bringing his signature blend of acoustic Americana doom to audiences abroad. The tour follows the release of his critically praised new album Angry Old Man , out now on Black Doomba Records .

Adding another milestone to his storied career, Dee Calhoun has been announced as direct support on the European Bass Warrior Tour with GRAMMY-winning bassist David Ellefson , featuring musical director Andy Martongelli . The winter 2025 tour spans multiple European cities, delivering a mix of Ellefson’s catalog, solo material, and hard rock/metal classics that have shaped his 40-year career.
