AEROSMITH And YUNGBLUD Share “My Only Angel” Single From One More Time Collaborative EP
Rock and roll just got a fresh jolt of electricity. Multi-Grammy Award-winning Rock And Roll Hall Of Famers AEROSMITH and British rock firebrand Yungblud have announced their forthcoming collaborative EP, One More Time , set for release on November 21 via Capitol Records .
Marking AEROSMITH’s first new music in over 12 years , One More Time was produced by Matt Schwartz and will feature four original tracks co-written by AEROSMITH and Yungblud , with Steven Tyler and Yungblud trading vocals, plus a 2025 reimagining of the classic “Back In The Saddle.”
The artwork, designed exclusively by Chrome Hearts’ Joe Foti, represents the brand’s first foray into album design. Fans can pre-order the EP digitally now and snag limited-edition vinyl copies.
Today, the legends and the young gun dropped the first single, “My Only Angel,” now streaming on all platforms with an accompanying visual. Opening with Tyler’s haunting a cappella vocals, the track builds into a wash of guitar echoes, pulsing rhythm, piano flourishes, and the hypnotic refrain of Tyler and Yungblud in harmony before Joe Perry unleashes a scorching solo.
“The decision to meet Yungblud and make this music with him…was like plugging into pure electricity!” said Tyler. “When we sang and played together for the first time, there was an immediate unspoken vibration throughout the studio. It reminded me of the boys and I driving into Boston 50 years ago for the very first time. That same pressure, that necessity. To make it. To make it great. That’s the rock ’n’ roll way, baby!”
“A year ago, I got a call that Yungblud wanted to come to Sarasota to work with me. Four days in the studio and I knew this guy had the juice,” Perry explained. “I called Steven and said, ‘You have to hear this guy — he’s the real deal.’ Fast forward, and here we are with something that speaks for itself. Let the music do the talking.”
For Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, the collaboration is nothing short of surreal.
“AEROSMITH have been such a staple of rock and roll for me, so I’ve been ready for this my whole life,” he said. “To sit here holding a vinyl that says AEROSMITH and Yungblud on it is blowing my mind. Steven and Joe are at the top of their game and working with them is a huge fucking honor. Rock ’n’ roll is waking the fuck up whether you like it or not. I’m loving every second.”
The partnership began with Yungblud contributing vocals on an early version of the epic “Hello Heaven, Hello.” The chemistry was undeniable, and what started as a guest spot blossomed into a full collaborative writing session that grew into the five-track EP.
Longtime AEROSMITH allies also appear, including former Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum behind the kit. Across the tracks, Perry and Brad Whitford’s guitars cut through with trademark fire, Tom Hamilton’s bass keeps the foundation steady, and Tyler’s unmistakable voice intertwines with Yungblud’s raw intensity.
The announcement follows the trio’s September 7 performance at the MTV Video Music Awards , where Tyler, Perry, and Yungblud teamed up to honor Ozzy Osbourne with a medley of his greatest hits. The buzz from that night only added fuel to the fire leading up to today’s reveal.
