French heavy metal duo IDŌL is set to unleash their latest single, Exciō , on September 26th, 2025 , offering fans a mesmerizing journey through gothic, doom, and hard rock landscapes. For listeners who dwell in the worlds of Ghost, 69 Eyes, and The Cure , this track delivers a darkly cinematic and immersive experience that fuses heavy riffs with poetic, mystical lyricism.

Formed in Paris in 2019 , IDŌL—comprising Aletheia and Valens —has carved out a unique niche by blending elements of heavy, progressive, and doom metal with influences drawn from horror cinema, video games, and literature . Their debut EP, ALLEGORIA (2022), introduced fans to their signature sound with singles like “Secur” and “Revelation.” 2023 saw the release of “Black Delight” and “Eerie Bells,” further solidifying their reputation for darkly romantic and cinematic compositions. Their 2025 single, “SYA,” served as a prelude to the new era now culminating in Exciō .
