FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A Fusion of Stoner Doom, Blues Rock, and Black Metal, Out December 25, 2025
Pfarrkirchen, Germany – Rising from years of pain, survival, and pure riff worship, St. Unholyness announce the release of their long-awaited debut album, Through High Holy Haze , dropping December 25, 2025 . Self-produced, self-released, and forged in chrome, this record is an unapologetic collision of stoner doom, blues rock swagger, and black metal ferocity—a sound the band proudly dubs “Chromed Stoner Doom with Groove & Style.”
For fans of High On Fire, Sleep, Motörhead, Pantera, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath, Crowbar, Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Kyuss, Orange Goblin, Mastodon, Gorgoroth, and Mayhem , Through High Holy Haze is both a heavy trip and a declaration of defiance.
Founded by Christina Earlymorn (guitars/vocals) in 2017, St. Unholyness was born from a lifetime of scars and survival. After years of playing in strictly black metal projects, Christina craved something broader—something that could blend her love for doom, groove, blues, and extremity into one unholy sound. With Mac Carrigan on bass , the lineup began to take shape, delivering thunderous low end beneath Christina’s chrome-plated riffs.
The project is deeply personal. Christina, a trans woman and survivor of abuse at the hands of a Catholic nun in her youth, channels her rage and resilience into music that demands empowerment. Her chrome-covered guitars reflect the audience back at themselves during live shows—a literal mirror to remind fans of their own strength. With a stage presence combining chrome shin guards, mirrored sunglasses, stilettos, skirts, and satin blouses , Christina embodies the dual spirit of vulnerability and power, darkness and style.
Years in the making, Through High Holy Haze is the culmination of riffs written as far back as 2017, finalized through grief, struggle, and creative rebirth. Across eight tracks , St. Unholyness bend genres with reckless precision—riding from swampy doom grooves to psychedelic jams, jagged thrash riffs, haunting black metal blasts, and blues-driven shred. The entire album is built around Christina’s HM-2-saturated guitar tone, injecting Swedish death metal bite into a stoner-doom chassis.
The record was produced, mixed, and mastered by Christina Earlymorn , who also directed all instrumentation, drum programming, and orchestral arrangements. The album art and design were also created by Christina, making Through High Holy Haze a fully independent artistic vision.
“This record is my life’s scars turned into riffs. Every reflection off my chrome guitar is a reminder—you’re stronger than the war you’re fighting inside. St. Unholyness is more than music—it’s survival, it’s rebellion, and it’s style.”
