He may play a cop on TV, but Ice-T found himself being arrested Wednesday morning (Oct 24) while driving into New York City. According to TMZ , the Port Authority police nabbed the Body Count frontman/ Law & Order: SVU actor for failing to pay the toll at the George Washington Bridge.
According to the report, Ice-T allegedly attempted to cross in the E-Z Pass lane, but his transmitter for paying the toll didn't work and the musician continued driving without realizing the offense when he was pulled over by the police.
The musician was reportedly driving a McLaren sports car, which the police discovered had not been registered, so he was arrested for not paying the toll and given a ticket for the vehicle registration.
"Cops went a little Extra. Coulda just wrote a ticket. In and out.. Moovin," said Ice-T in a tweet after the incident, later adding, "I love how people think just because I ACT like a cop on SVU I get special treatment from real cops... lol." Oddly enough, the actor was en route to the set of Law & Order: SVU when the incident occurred.
