MetalSucks Spotlights Vitriol on North American Liberation Through Punishment Tour with Unmerciful and Weeping

North America — Death metal fans, prepare yourselves. Later this year, Vitriol will unleash their blistering Liberation Through Punishment tour across the U.S. and Canada, bringing along Unmerciful and Weeping for what MetalSucks calls “a motherfucker of a death metal tour.”

The carnage kicks off November 6th in Santa Cruz, CA and runs through December 6th in Portland, OR , with stops in major cities like Dallas, Atlanta, Montreal, Orlando, and Chicago.

Vitriol will also debut their new lineup on this run, featuring Andy “Yung Cannon” Vincenzetti (Morgue Defilement) on drums, stepping in after longtime member Matt Kilner’s departure.

About Devouring Darkness

The band’s newest album, Devouring Darkness , marks a new era of relentless violence and sonic brutality. The release sees the return of longtime member Jeremy Turner to guitar and introduces Josh Riley as the band’s new vocalist, further intensifying their punishing sound.

The record was engineered and produced by Clinton Appelhanz at Waveworks Studio , with mastering handled by the legendary Alan Douches (Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal, etc.). Artwork was created by Santiago Francisco Jaramillo .

With ten tracks of scorching intensity and distorted vengeance, Devouring Darkness delivers blistering blast beats, intricate kick drum assaults, and destructive riffing—solidifying UNMERCIFUL as one of brutal death metal’s most devastating forces.
