Seattle’s Sölicitör are back to raise hell and sharpen steel with the release of their second full-length album, Enemy in Mirrors , due out September 19 via Gates of Hell Records. Packed with ten tracks of high-voltage speed metal, the record delivers everything fans could want—razor-sharp riffs, pounding rhythms, searing leads, and the unmistakable, soaring vocals of Amy Lee Carlson.
It’s been five years since Sölicitör’s debut LP, Spectral Devastation , carved their name into the global underground. Since then, the band has grown meaner, tighter, and more ferocious, channeling the spirit of classic 80s heavy and speed metal while forging a sound that’s entirely their own. Enemy in Mirrors pushes their music further into darker, more melodic territory, while still packing all the velocity and firepower that made them a name to watch.
From the opening salvo of “The Descent” through the epic closer “The Devil’s Hand (Part II),” Sölicitör bring forth an album that blends speed, heavy, and thrash metal elements into a cohesive, punishing experience. Fans will hear a more dynamic and emotive side of the band—without sacrificing the raw intensity that defines their sound.
True to their underground ethos, Sölicitör handled much of the recording process themselves, giving the album a raw, immediate edge. To ensure maximum sonic impact, re-amping, mixing, and mastering duties were handed to Chris Mannino, who captured the band’s electrifying performances with precision. Even the cover art was done in-house—vocalist Amy created the piece herself, ensuring the band’s vision was realized without compromise.
The band describes Enemy in Mirrors as the result of personal struggle and triumph:
“This album was built on blood, sweat and struggle, personal catastrophes and triumphs, division and uncertainty—ultimately pulled together by dedication to a long term vision and determination above all odds to deliver performances that will surely outlast our previous offerings. This album is darker, more melodic, much more expressive, personal, and may take some by surprise for better or worse. Themes of the paranormal, revenge and retribution, betrayal, and a steadfast commitment to heavy metal and all that has come before us as we continue to pursue and mark our place in a drastically different and ever-changing landscape.”
The first single, “Iron Wolves of War” (featuring guest vocals from Leif Julin), is already streaming on YouTube and Bandcamp, giving fans a taste of the album’s ferocity. With its galloping riffs, anthemic hooks, and warrior-spirit energy, the track makes it clear Sölicitör are back to conquer.
