The unrelenting force known as THE MILGRAM PROTOCOL returns with "Lost Cause" , their newest sonic assault released June 13th, 2025. Blending the crushing weight of Slipknot , the relentless groove of Lamb of God , and the emotional fire of Killswitch Engage , this self-produced single is a blistering statement of frustration and resistance — the soundtrack for anyone who’s ever felt cast aside and ready to fight back.

Formed in November 2020, THE MILGRAM PROTOCOL is more than just a band — they’re a sonic revolution. Fusing thrash aggression , nu-metal groove , progressive intricacy , and hardcore intensity , their sound is a genre-bending beast that refuses to be caged. From the primal rhythms of drummer Jeff Smith , to the searing riffs of guitarist/bassist Dave Rahman , and the fierce, unfiltered screams of frontman Waz , every second of Lost Cause hits with focused fury.

This track marks the next step in the band’s evolution. Since their debut EP Remote Control (2022), THE MILGRAM PROTOCOL has shed skin, sharpened claws, and emerged louder, darker, and more unapologetically themselves. Their journey from raw experimentation to powerful precision has led to a string of standout singles like Unveiling the Wretched Truth , Despise Me , and Future Holds — and Lost Cause may be the most impactful yet.

“‘Lost Cause’ is about that breaking point,” says the band. “When you’ve had enough, when you stop asking for change and start demanding it. It’s a middle finger to every voice that said we couldn’t, and a rally cry for those who still believe they can.”
