South Florida’s theatrical death/horror metal maniacs MRSA are back from the grave with a vengeance! The band has unleashed the first taste of their highly anticipated full-length debut HORRIFIER , due out this summer via CDN Records. The first single, “I AM THE SWARM,” is now streaming everywhere and accompanied by a terrifying lyric video coming soon.

Inspired by Clive Barker’s infamous short story “The Forbidden,” later adapted into the cult horror film Candyman , “I AM THE SWARM” tells the tale of an urban legend reborn through blood and belief. With monstrous riffs, guttural vokills, and an atmosphere thick with dread, MRSA delivers a crushing tribute to the power of myth, memory, and murder.

HORRIFIER promises 12 gruesome, horror-themed tracks —each one a death metal descent into classic horror films, performed by the most demented killers this side of Hell. MRSA’s signature mix of extreme metal and theatrical horror comes alive with scare actors, full effects, and an experience that has to be seen (and survived) to be believed.

About MRSA

Formed in the darkest corners of South Florida in 2013, MRSA has evolved into a full-blown horror death metal spectacle , blurring the line between live concert and cinematic slaughterhouse. With early EPs The Biography of Madness and HEAVIER gaining underground acclaim and support from legends like Terrence Hobbs (SUFFOCATION), the band has opened for acts such as MAC SABBATH, OKILLY DOKILLY, and POWERGLOVE while developing a loyal and infected fanbase.

Led by DEAN CORPSE , an undead frontman accidentally summoned during a satanic mishap, MRSA delivers music that drips with hooks, filth, and fear. Their upcoming release HORRIFIER is set to infect the masses through CDN Records in 2024.
