Last Retch Signs with Time To Kill Records, Set to Release Highly Anticipated Second Album

We at MDPR are thrilled to congratulate our former clients, Canadian death metal powerhouse Last Retch , on their recent signing with Time To Kill Records ! This exciting new partnership sets the stage for the release of Last Retch’s sophomore full-length album, promising to deliver a brutal sonic experience that will captivate death metal fans worldwide.

Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, Last Retch has steadily carved out a fierce reputation in the underground death metal scene. Their sound marries the relentless, bulldozer-like aggression of war metal legends Bolt Thrower with the crushing heaviness and groove of Cannibal Corpse at their peak, resulting in music engineered for pit chaos and the raw intensity that true death metal aficionados crave.

The band first surfaced in early 2021 with a raw demo that immediately resonated with fans craving uncompromising heaviness. Their debut album, “Sadism and Severed Heads” (September 2022), showcased nine savage tracks elevated by stunning cover art from renowned painter Paolo Girardi. In April 2024, they followed up with the “Ergotism” EP, a tighter, more aggressive offering that highlighted their continuous evolution and unyielding commitment to brutal riffing and powerful rhythms.

Now, under the banner of Time To Kill Records, Last Retch is preparing to unleash their second full-length album in 2025. This upcoming release promises to be their most refined and impactful work yet — combining unrelenting brutality with deeper layers of atmosphere and a more polished production quality.
