An Anthem of Struggle and Strength
Frontman David Simonich reveals a deeply personal inspiration behind “Clouded Retinas,” which reflects his battle with vision loss and a diagnosis of Stargardt disease. The lyrics are structured as a raw internal dialogue, with Ramos joining not just to deliver a blistering guest performance, but to help raise awareness around degenerative diseases and disability.
“With Will holding it down for today's deathcore, I tried to showcase my influences from Nate Johnson and Vincent Bennett because the song feels modern yet nostalgic at the same time,” Simonich explains.

“Clouded Retinas” is the latest preview of the band’s highly anticipated sixth studio album, To Rid Myself of Truth , dropping August 22nd via Century Media Records .
