Derby, UK — Emerging UK powerhouse We Are Sovereign continue to break boundaries with the announcement of their forthcoming acoustic single, “This Farewell Is Our Fate (Re:imagined),” set for release on June 20, 2025 . Known for their emotionally charged sound and defiant message of resilience, the band strips it all back in this poignant reinterpretation—offering fans a raw, intimate version of one of their most impactful tracks.

This reimagined single marks a new chapter for the Derby-based band, embracing vulnerability through a stripped-down, acoustic sound that still carries the weight and emotional punch of their signature post-hardcore/metalcore roots. Produced and mixed by Ben Gaines (Audiomage) and mastered by Alan Douches , the single delivers sonic clarity while holding space for reflection, storytelling, and heartache.

Fronted by vocalist Laura , whose personal journey through gender dysphoria and transformation has deeply informed the band’s ethos, We Are Sovereign is more than a band—it’s a movement. Their music speaks to those who feel unheard, lost, or afraid to embrace their truth. Their mission is clear:

The single will be accompanied by a music video written, produced, and directed by Laura Russell , with visual storytelling captured and edited by Loki Films .

Following the success of their debut album Step Out Comfort Zone and high-profile features in Kerrang! Magazine and Kerrang! Radio , the band continues to build momentum. They recently shared the stage with Dream State and are teasing a new collaboration with Jessie Powell of the same band.
