A Return Forged in Fire and Blood

Marking their first full-length since 2008’s Transmutation (released via Forces of Satan Records/Regain Records), Serpent’s Verdict signals a thunderous comeback after years of intense songwriting and spiritual focus. While retaining their signature brutality, the band’s latest offering carves out new territory, blending tribal rhythms and immersive storytelling with the sheer aggression that made them legends of the South American underground.

The lineup behind this bludgeoning new era includes:

Jaime Veron – Lead Vocals

Diego Santiago – Bass

George “Dog” Duarte – Drums

Fred Barros – Guitars

Themes of War, Wrath, and Transcendence

Speaking on the album's concept, Ophiolatry describes Serpent’s Verdict as:

“A brutal exploration of spiritual revenge, indigenous resistance, and the clash of ancient beliefs against colonizing ideologies. These stories—ripped from the scars of real Amazonian history and mythology—convey vengeance, pain, and the ultimate transcendence through suffering. From resurrected warriors to the wrath of serpent gods, each track is a raw tale of chaos and defiance.”

This new chapter balances raw extremity with vivid narrative, weaving together myth and reality through dense, punishing compositions.

Sonic Execution

Serpent’s Verdict was sculpted and recorded at Satori Estudio , with production, recording, and mixing handled by bassist Diego Santiago . Final mastering duties were entrusted to legendary producer Dan Swanö of Unisound . The album’s fierce visuals are credited to LouLou Fine Art , with graphic layout by Beto Mustafa .
