Prepare for the ultimate metal meltdown as SLAYER returns to the U.S. East Coast for a one-night-only headlining event at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, September 20, 2025 . This will mark the legendary band's only East Coast appearance this year, and they’re bringing a stacked lineup of iconic and rising heavyweights for an unforgettable evening of mayhem.
Tickets go on pre-sale Tuesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. ET , with general sales launching Friday, April 11 at 10 a.m. ET at www.slayer.net . Doors open at 3 p.m. ET, and the first riff drops at 4 p.m. sharp.
The show will be hosted by WWE superstar Damian Priest , a die-hard SLAYER fan who famously uses “South of Heaven” as his finishing move. Priest’s deep ties to metal make him the perfect emcee for what promises to be one of the heaviest events of the year.

SLAYER frontman Tom Araya didn’t hold back on his excitement:
“Slayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeerrrrrr!!!!!! One night only, stacked lineup, it's going to be f*cking sick!!!! Hersheypark — be there… If not, you're either dead, in jail or a sissy!!!!!”
Guitarist Kerry King added:
“Last year, SLAYER played only two shows, and the reaction was just completely overwhelming. For the Hershey concert, we'll play a full SLAYER show, we’ll have all of our big fire effects, and just burn everything like we used to.”
King also expressed his anticipation to finally share the stage with POWER TRIP and KNOCKED LOOSE , both of whom have drawn critical acclaim in recent years.
“This will be the first time SLAYER has played with them, but I am well aware of them from word of mouth and hearing their music on Liquid Metal. I’m looking forward to seeing them live.”
Other bands echoed the energy:
POWER TRIP : “Honored to share the stage with one of our all-time favorite bands, SLAYER. See you sick f*cks at the riff clinic.”
KNOCKED LOOSE : “We’re excited to play with some of the best heavy bands of all time, past and present.”

SLAYER’s surprise return to the stage last year after a five-year hiatus left fans reeling, with massive appearances at Riot Fest in Chicago and Aftershock in Sacramento. While the band insists they are not touring or recording again, these limited performances are a celebration of their legacy, giving newer fans a rare chance to witness one of metal’s most iconic bands live.
“We’re never gonna tour again. We’re never gonna make a record again… This is all about celebration,” King emphasized.
The reunion lineup features King, Paul Bostaph (drums), Gary Holt (guitar), and Tom Araya — the same core that last toured in 2019.
Fans who missed SLAYER’s 2024 reunion sets — featuring rippers like "South of Heaven," "Seasons in the Abyss," "Angel of Death," and "Raining Blood" — won’t want to miss this final East Coast inferno. With 30,000 seats , massive pyro, and a wall-to-wall lineup of metal legends and rising destroyers, September 20 in Hershey is set to go down in metal history.
Don't wait — get your tickets, bring your horns, and prepare for the burn .
