To celebrate this year’s Record Store Day on Saturday 22nd April Peaceville will be releasing two exclusive limited edition vinyl pieces from Darkthrone & Katatonia.

There will be a special picture disc edition of Darkthrone’s latest masterpiece – Arctic Thunder, which features a variation on the original cover design and alternate band photography on the sleeve; this will be strictly limited to 2,000 copies.

Also being released is a special 10″ vinyl single from Katatonia entitled Proscenium which will be limited to 1,000 copies. Proscenium features 4 live tracks performed at The Roman Theatre in Poldiv, Bulgaria – 3 taken from their latest opus The Fall Of Hearts – “Last Song Before The Fade”, “Serein” and “Old Hearts Fall” and “Journey Through Pressure” taken from their classic album The Great Cold Distance.

Record Store Day sees independent record shops all across the world come together to celebrate their unique culture. Special vinyl releases are made exclusively for the day and many shops and cities host artist performances and events to mark the occasion.
