Fresh off a triumphant North American headlining tour, the legendary KING DIAMOND has returned with a brand-new single and video, "Spider Lilly," marking the first chapter of his upcoming Horror Trilogy.

A Haunting Beginning: Saint Lucifer's Hospital 1920

"Spider Lilly" is the first taste of King Diamond’s eagerly awaited trilogy, with part one titled Saint Lucifer's Hospital 1920. Produced and mastered in collaboration with Arthur Rizk, the single showcases a chillingly powerful sound—clear and dynamic, like a full moon piercing through a blackened sky. True to form, the music and lyrics are crafted entirely by King Diamond himself.

The lineup remains intact, featuring King Diamond on lead and backing vocals along with his unmistakable work on the Hammond Organ, Andy La Rocque and Mike Wead on guitars, Pontus Egberg on bass, and Matt Thompson on drums. A special guest appearance by Danish vocalist Myrkur adds a haunting touch with her mesmerizing backing vocals.

Filming at the Infamous Pennhurst Asylum

Part of the "Spider Lilly" video was filmed at the notoriously haunted Pennhurst Asylum outside Philadelphia, just two days before Halloween during a tour travel day. King Diamond, alongside actress Jodi Cachia, braved the eerie setting with director David Brodsky, producer Allie Woest, and their dedicated crew from My Good Eye Visuals.

"What a dark but great experience," King reflects. "Hopefully, that was not the last video we’ll be able to film there."
