Sybreed Unveils New Lyric Video for "System Debaser" Ahead of Highly Anticipated Slave Design Reissue!

Swiss industrial metal pioneers Sybreed have unleashed their brand-new lyric video for the track "System Debaser", a song originally written in 2003 but shelved during the production of their iconic debut album Slave Design. Now, as part of the much-anticipated Slave Design reissue, "System Debaser" has finally been recorded and revealed to fans for the first time—marking a significant moment in the band's history.

The Slave Design reissue, set for release on October 4, celebrates the 20th anniversary of Sybreed’s groundbreaking 2004 album. This special edition has been fully remastered by renowned engineer Jens Bogren, featuring stunning new artwork by Erik Kirchner and two newly recorded tracks, including a modern version of "Bioactive" and the previously unreleased "System Debaser."

Kirchner, who designed the revamped cover art, shared his excitement:
"I am beyond thrilled to finally reveal the official cover art I designed for Swiss industrial metal band Sybreed. In celebration of Slave Design's 20th Anniversary, Drop honored me with the opportunity to reimagine the iconic album's entire artwork. His only request was for the original cover concept to remain the same and for the new cover to appear modern and void of human features. The interior album art panels illustrate the potentially bleak future of a human civilization enslaved by its own biomechanical creations."

Pre-orders for the Slave Design reissue CD are available now, with vinyl pre-orders to be announced later this year. Fans of Sybreed won’t want to miss this epic re-release, featuring a modern twist on the album that helped define the industrial metal genre.

Sybreed Announces 20th Anniversary Edition of Debut Album "Slave Design" and Unveils New Single "System Debaser"

Industrial metal pioneers Sybreed are set to re-release their seminal debut album, Slave Design, in a special 20th Anniversary Edition on October 4th, 2024. This highly anticipated reissue comes two decades after the album's original release in 2004, offering fans a refreshed experience of the record that helped define the "death wave" genre—a potent blend of New Wave and Death Metal.
