Empty Throne Announces Debut Album "Unholy," Set for Release on November 27, 2024

Blackened thrash/death metal juggernauts Empty Throne are set to unleash their highly anticipated debut full-length album, "Unholy," on November 27, 2024 via Swedish label Downfall Records. This powerhouse of extreme metal blends the fury of black, thrash, and death metal into a ferocious and unique sonic assault, guaranteed to leave a mark on fans of the genre.

Formed in 2020, Empty Throne draws from the most potent elements of extreme metal to craft a sound that is both familiar and refreshing. After lineup changes featuring metal legends like Mike Smith (ex-Suffocation) and Jack Owen (Cannibal Corpse, Deicide), the band has solidified its roster with Mike Pardi (guitar, Draconis, ex-Possessed), Gabe Seeber (drums, The Kennedy Veil, Abbath), and Jason Ellsworth (bass, Angerot). The band's concept and brutal music are driven by CR Petit (vocals, Angerot).

The debut album, "Unholy," features six relentless tracks spanning over 40 minutes of the best darkened death/thrash metal. With its crushing riffs, blistering drumming, and sinister vocals, Unholy promises to be one of the standout releases of 2024.

"Unholy" will be available in CD, LP, and Digital formats through Downfall Records.
