Brazilian Death Metal band GESTOS recently shocked fans and followers with a social media post from guitarist Kleber Hora, revealing that the band had been robbed while touring in Poland. The band, which had been touring Europe, faced an unexpected and devastating turn of events.
According to Kleber Hora, the producer Etrurian Legion Promotion abandoned the trio at their hostel after their first show on July 4, taking all their instruments and merchandise, citing a lack of payment. The band, however, claims that "50% of the amount had already been paid, 30% was to be paid in advance after the first performance, and the rest would be agreed upon during the tour, but the producer did not accept."
The full statement can be read here .
On the morning of July 5, Kleber Hora also published photos in his Instagram stories showing the instruments allegedly destroyed by Etrurian Legion Promotion.
The band's fans were quick to offer their support and outrage over the incident, rallying around GESTOS during this difficult time. Despite this setback, the band has announced their return to Brazil and remains committed to their music and fans.
