Industrial nu-metal band Amerakin Overdose has delighted fans with a hilarious new behind-the-scenes parody video featuring their fictitious manager, Ronald Ruphie. Directed by Bausik Filmco, the video offers a satirical and entertaining glimpse into the chaotic world of band life, providing a refreshing departure from the group's usual intense and provocative themes.

In this clever parody, Ronald Ruphie, portrayed as a brutally honest and abusive manager, makes a special trip to Portland to check on the band's progress. Frustrated and desperate, Ruphie attempts to whip the seemingly slacking band members into shape. The video humorously captures the everyday challenges of pushing the band toward stardom, highlighting the constant balancing act between creativity and commercial pressure.

"We wanted to share a different side of our band with our fans, and we like to make fun of ourselves," said Cody Perez, lead singer of Amerakin Overdose. "Ronald's portrayal is funny and spot-on, showing the constant balancing act between creativity and commercial pressure. It's a fun way to showcase the cringe, connect with our audience, and let them see the lighter side of what we do."

The video, blending satire and the music industry, not only entertains but also offers a candid look at the band's dynamics and the often absurd nature of the music business. This humorous approach allows fans to connect with the band on a more personal level, breaking down the usual barriers between artist and audience.

Amerakin Overdose is gearing up for the release of their third album, Artificial Infection, set to drop on July 12 on CD and streaming services. Engineered by Ukrainian producer Nikolas Roy Quemtri at NRQ's Studio, the album promises to deliver the band's signature sound with added depth and complexity. Notably, the album includes a track in Spanish, accompanied by a music video for the title track, "Artificial Infection."

The band is also set to embark on a nationwide tour, making appearances at Rock Fest in Cadott, WI, and opening for major acts like Thirty Seconds To Mars, Shinedown, and Jelly Roll. Known for their intense live performances, Amerakin Overdose captures the raw essence of a society marred by disillusionment, corruption, and decay. Their shows are a visceral experience, featuring barbaric mutated sub-human characters that symbolize the horrors and temptations of American society.

In addition to the parody video, Revolver Magazine recently announced the upcoming Artificial Infection album and premiered the single "Damaged" on May 16, 2024. Revolver described the track as a "pummeling cut" co-produced by Cristian Machado of Ill Niño and Lions at the Gate fame, accompanied by a high-octane music video filmed and edited by Bausik Filmco.

As Amerakin Overdose continues to push boundaries with their music and creative projects, fans can expect more innovative and entertaining content that reflects the band's unique perspective on society and the music industry.
