World Premiere: Emerald Rage - "Valkyrie" (Official Lyric Video)

Emerald Rage, the quartet hell-bent on the passion for aggression and melody in the metal world, is proud to present the world premiere of their latest single, "Valkyrie," along with its official lyric video. Inspired by the melancholic storytelling of Nordic warriors, this song, in the vein of Manowar, takes metalheads through the lens of a warrior dying in battle, awaiting the final journey to Valhalla accompanied by the Valkyries.

Emerald Rage has spearheaded the underground metal scene with a deadly combination of blazing riffs, anthemic choruses, and a gritty, commanding voice. Their lyrical direction of mythology, history, and literature sets them apart, offering fans a journey into the realms of epic tales and fierce battles.

Formed as a quartet, Emerald Rage rebirths a style akin to themselves, drawing influences from power metal, speed metal, heavy metal, and even thrash metal. Their array of influences includes acts such as Thin Lizzy, Amon Amarth, and Judas Priest, which they have covered with their own twist.

In the summer of 2021, Emerald Rage unleashed their long-awaited debut release, "High King," on Stormspell Records, gaining attention among fans of bands such as Running Wild, Iron Maiden, and Riot. Their 39-minute LP drew comparisons to classic 80s metal bands, establishing Emerald Rage as a force to be reckoned with in the metal community.

Five months later, the band released an EP, "Scealta," expressing their passion for Celtic mythology and music from the forefathers of heavy metal such as Thin Lizzy, Rainbow, and UFO. This showcased a 70s metal direction with the group's own twist.

Now, two years later, Emerald Rage unveils their sophomore effort, "Valkyrie," venturing further into progressive and speed metal territory with longer, complex songs such as the 8-minute setlist staple, "Prince of the Moon." Pushing the boundaries of their sound, Emerald Rage has absorbed many influences and channeled them into a unique product of their own.

"Valkyrie" promises to be another epic addition to Emerald Rage's discography, delivering a blend of aggression, melody, and storytelling that will captivate metal fans worldwide.
