Fresh from closing Download Festival this summer, Ozzy Osbourne has lined up a February 2019 UK arena tour.
The six-date tour entitled No More Tours 2 – a reference to his his 1992 ‘No More Tours’ trek - will take in arena shows in Nottingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and London.
Joining Ozzy as very special guests at all shows will be his fellow West Midlands heavy metal torchbearers Judas Priest, who celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2019.
Judas Priest supported Ozzy Osbourne in Lisbon back in July and they’re currently on a 25-date co-headline North American jaunt with Deep Purple as part of their sprawling Firepower World Tour.
Tickets to Ozzy Osbourne’s No More Tours 2 tour go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Friday 7th September.
Ozzy’s band will consist of Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko (Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums) and Adam Wakeman (Keyboards) at all shows.
"I've been extremely blessed to have had two successful music careers," says Ozzy. "I'm looking at this final tour as being a huge celebration for my fans and anyone who has enjoyed my music over the past five decades."
Although No More Tours 2 is Ozzy’s final world tour, the singer insists he will still be playing gigs in the future.
He explained in February 2018: “I’m not retiring. It's 'No More Tours,' so I'm just not doing world tours any more. I'm still going to be doing gigs, but I'm not going on tour for six months at a time any more. I'd like to spend some time at home.
“I've experienced fantastic things – it's been an incredible journey. I just need to slow it down a little. I enjoy being a grandfather. I don't want to go through another generation of Osbournes without seeing them grow up.”
