How I met the band: Metal Devastation Radio sent me the band with the album.Even though Goth isn't really my genre of choice anymore, I embraced it for old times' sake.So let's have a listen:

What do I think of the record: We as listeners get solid Gothic Metal here.The whole thing is pretty much based on doom metal, but with a little more energy and still a little more melancholy.You can also hear that English people are at work here.Not only in terms of the language, but also the music has a certain British influence, even if I can't define it in more detail.

The almost title track DANCE OF MISTS sounds pretty strong.The intro is spoken here before it starts off in a quiet, heavy and melancholic way.Even though the song is mid--tempo, it exudes a certain calmness, which I find very interesting.Definitely a recommendation.

THE LOSS carries a certain anger within it.But this is suppressed or held back by the dark mood of the music.Other than that, the song is really strong and sums up the album quite well.

Conclusion: The album is really worth listening to.Unfortunately it doesn't bother me enough to give me a higher rating, but maybe that will change with further publications.Until then, listen here:
