First of all, I have to say that VÖRST act in an absolutely atmospheric way with apocalyptic metal sounds and this aspect is also the main focus of their music. What has to be highlighted positively in all the songs are the many tempo changes and breaks, because this maintains a dynamic that keeps you going again and again and never lets the tracks get boring. The wide-ranging instrumentation creates a dense carpet of sound, enchanting between hard guitars and the dominant drums. These are top notch, the singing sounds versatile, bright, rumbling, variable. Thick riffs, a melodic lead guitar used in the right places, which also serves up nice short guitar solos in "Bloodlust & Angeldust", for example, contribute the decisive part to this. 

The fact that "Burn The Priest" has a bit of everything is proven by the opener and title track, the key number on the album,  "Hellbound" is in no way inferior to it, as is "Through The Fire We Ride", which all have a faster tempo . Variety in the instrumentation  is just as important as its skilled use. VÖRST are heavy, playful, epic, like an apocalyptic scenario, but with a lot of hope and goodwill in their sound. If you listen to "Burn The Priest" all the way through, an overall concept opens up that couldn't have been better.
