Komodo presents their new track 'Beneath Your Race' as their great ode to the classic Thrash Metal / Heavy Metal genre of the 80s. Komodo, the heavy metal band founded in Panama City in 2014, is ready to release their new single, "Beneath Your Race," on September 15, 2023. The band has embarked on an exciting journey from Central America to Colombia, Spain, and the prestigious stage of the Wacken Open Air in Germany. Their music blends 80s heavy metal and thrash metal with modern influences, paying homage to bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, and more. "Beneath Your Race" is a song that addresses themes such as conspiracy theories, war criticism, and the fight for freedom. It was produced by Komodo, recorded at Ilícito Studios, and mixed by Grammy and Latin Grammy winner Ignacio "Nacho" Molino. Additionally, the mastering was handled by Daniel Ovie, ensuring the exceptional sound quality of the single. Komodo, consisting of Hugo Andrade, Juan Manuel Díaz, Carlos Owens, and Miguel Yau, released their debut album "Fear The Komodo" in 2018. Since then, they have become one of the leading figures in the genre in Panama and have performed in various countries, including Germany, Spain, and Colombia. On September 15, Komodo will celebrate the release of "Beneath Your Race" with a powerful concert at El Sótano in Panama City, featuring Dvrso as a special guest. Furthermore, on September 16, they will release the music video on YouTube, highlighting their tour across Europe and the Americas. These events mark a milestone in Komodo's career and offer fans the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in their musical world.
