Not everything that says rock on it has rock inside. With "Pyre Fyre", the album of the same name by PYRE FYRE, there are so many different styles that you don't even want to list them all. I personally like this versatility, because reviews of albums from the classic rock area often make me yawn quite quickly. But PYRE FYRE bring so much variety into their work that this phenomenon doesn't happen this time. Right from the opener "Hypnotize" a subtle noise influence was the godfather. "Flood Zone", on the other hand, brings a decent doom attitude, while "Wyld Ryde" can probably be assigned to classic rock with a hint of sludge. "Cordyceps" then combines several varieties in one song.

Sometimes metallic riffs ring through, then there's a quieter phase. This diverse march route runs through the entire album. In addition, PYRE FYRE also know their craft. The singing gives the melodic and melancholic aspects of their work an emotional expression, even a quite unique stamp. In retrospect, I couldn't say that any one division is very dominant here. "Pyre Fyre" is simply a very varied album that should appeal to rockers and metal fans alike.   Metal Division Magazine !
