Miami-based band Mold! get ready to share their self-titled album on September 9th. The record marks the second full length of the Miami-based trio, and it will also be available on vinyl. Their signature sound, a blend of noise and punk with a splash of psychedelia, is creatively reflected in their new collection of songs.
Carlo Barbacci (Guitar - Vocals - Synths), Bronto Montano (Bass - Vocals), and Frankie Lujan (Drums), followed the same recipe that lead them to the title of Miami New Times Best Emerging Act 2021 , and teamed up once again with sound engineer Ryan Haft (Torche, Wrong, Jacuzzi Boys) for recording and co-producing their new record.
“This album is a collection of 10 songs about our feelings towards living in the states as immigrants. This album means A new milestone in our lives, new adventures, and excited for anything new that could come with it.” - Carlo and Bronto
MOLD! will be playing their album release show on September 16th at Gramps, Miami, presented by The Black Market and with special guests Wrong, Palomino Blond, and Frogs Show Mercy. Tickets Here .

About MOLD!
MOLD! was born in 2019 as a result of the migration of Carlo and Bronto, from Peru to the US, and their wish to make music in a foreign country. Soon after arriving in Miami, they started making their way into the local scene. As an outcome of all that adventure, in 2021 Mold! released their first album: No Silence!
Following the release of their debut album, Mold! has had the opportunity to be part of significant festivals in South Florida including iiiPoints and Bumble Fest, as well as some outside the area such as Winterland (Jacksonville), Festival Sideral in Lima, Peru, and a couple shows in NYC. MOLD! Has opened for Los Blenders in Peru and Dion Lunadon in Miami.
Mold!’s sound is based on Barbacci’s and Montano’s influences, which include anything noisy, loud, and melodic.
2023 has been a very exciting year for Mold!. The band has been touring frequently and will release their second LP, eponymously titled. Mold! is excited to see what the future holds, and is focused on expanding its sound as far as it can go.
