For the record, Denis Tereschenko is the only multi-instrumentalist member, born in Russia, who moved with his family when he was 1 year old to Belarus where he lived until 2004, the year in which he moved with his family in Israel.

His project was created in 2007 under the name DIE ENTWEIHUNG. Denis Tereschenko who, at the start of his career, had the stage name Herr Entweiherr within his group, began to play in a Black Metal register which will evolve over time to move towards a Blackened Heavy Metal register with everything even influences from IRON MAIDEN, the Old School Thrash scene and ORPHANED LAND for Middle Eastern melodies.

Denis still has to his credit two demos, two EPs and 10 albums and "Strict Regime Country" is the 1st with behind the microphone, two people who accompany him in this adventure. We will find Bilge "Serpent" who will be in a Black register, mixing that of Mattias Lilja from DIVINE SOULS and Tuomas Nieminen from THRONE OF CHAOS, two groups which unfortunately no longer exist, and he will form a duo with Alena 7 Krakorova which will evolve in a clear song with different variations according to the titles.

Let's start with the instrumental titles. “Some Kind Of Independence” is rhythmic and slightly tinged with Thrash and you can already feel the band's own musical identity with the use of an unusual instrument, the Bouzouki, which you can also enjoy on “Their Own Tragic 9- 11” moderate overall while having a melodic soul tinged with several IRON MAIDEN touches reminding us of the “Virtual XI” album. We will end with "Revolution Of Broken Dreams" also moderated with a shady and personal atmosphere.

"One Of Us" begins with almost the same riff as "Some Kind Of Independence", rhythmic, good riffs with Thrash notes with a fluid and melodic guitar playing, here, Alena 7 Krakorova will only perform vocals, on the other hand, she will be absent on the title "Mayhem Of The Doomed" which continues in line and in a good cadence with Filip Šuster who will perform the solo.

"White Red White Genocide" will present a more moderate tempo and a darker atmosphere with the appearance of the violin which will bring a melancholic touch with Alena's semi-lyrical singing.

We get back on track with "Yesterday", undoubtedly the title with the most oriental inspired melodies, a few notes of violin and keyboards in the background with a touch of madness in Alena's singing and with Marianna Lukianova to realize the solo.

"Strict Regime Country" has a Prog aspect, vocally gripping, in a moderate tempo which will see the alternation of more posed passages with other more powerful ones, all enriched with saxophone and flute.

Despite its "Blackened" side, represented by a typical Black Death vocals, and some darker atmospheres that may put some people off, this varied Heavy Metal album, with good riffs and melodies that will not leave you indifferent, deserves to be discovered just like the rest of the discography.

Short Bio: Die Entweihung (Desecration (German)) - one man band, formed in May 2007, by Denis Tereschenko (first years performed as Herr Entweiherr), in the northern part of Israel, three years after moving to Israel from Belarus (Vitebsk). Beginning as a raw Black Metal project, Die Entweihung, already on the second album embarks on all sorts of experiments relating to all aspects of creativity. Having passed for almost 10 years through the different, both stylistic and sound changes, Die Entweihung releases "Neverending Terrorism" in 2015, an album as far removed from Black Metal; now the style of the project can be identified as Blackened Heavy Metal, with the lyrics about the surrounding sad reality. The newest conceptual “Strict Regime Country” is continuing the way of the three previous albums, presenting to the listener eclectic mixing such styles like Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Doom Metal, Prog Rock with rich vocal diversity (male growling/screaming, female growling/clean vocals) and lot of Middle-Eastern melodies.

The album is dedicated to Denis' native Belarus, and all the album titles and lyrics are based mostly on the events that happened in 2020-2021 in Belarus (False elections, largest protests in the country's history, lot of people were imprisoned or forced to run from Belarus).
