Okapi Busdriver is a young project of guys from the city of Zhukovsky, skillfully mixing a musical cocktail of prog, post metal and sludge metal. The first LP "Road To New Existence" (DTH Records, Moscow) was released in 2021. The release is inspired by the legends of the indigenous people of North America, the Aleuts. This is a fantasy about what happens if the sun one day sinks into the abyss of the ocean. One of the sources of information about the Aleuts used in creation of the single was "Notes on the Islands of the Unalashka Department", compiled by I. Veniaminov in 1840.
